So I take my happy ass to 86Speed and get myself a new exhaust from HKS. Page says "In Stock" cool, I order it. I notice that after two weeks the order still says "Processing". Ask sales about it, it turns out that is technically not in stock, but being manufactured and due to shipping containers being delayed, I won't see it until maybe late June. This is one thing I can't understand from some stores, why claim that your items are in stock, ready to be shipped, when the vendor really just acts as the middle man between you and the manufacturer. It would make more sense to look at logistics and say, I dont know " We usually get X amount or orders for this particular part, we should order them in bulk to have them ready, that way people don't cancel their orders on us", or have some sort of disclaimer like they do on headers/turbos stating that the order goes directly to the manufacturer and there's an X amount of wait time. I understand the current situation and I can wait, I love 86speed because they are usually really fast, but this time I'm just let a little bummed about having to find out the hard way.

I would file a dispute with the credit card company.

Nice, but the chrome is bit too crumber for me.

I will say if I was going to get the automatic, I'd at least want it with flappy paddles...

Our service requires you to put it in those giant paper bag things and then they pick it up with the regular trash but it gets mulched at the municipal dump. I've never had a service that allowed you to put it in standard garbage bags (if they caught you there was a fine/charge).

Depending on the type of grass you have you can just mulch it with a mulching blade as suggested. I've also used it by mulching it, but collecting it in the catcher and spreading it out around bushes in our back yard around the fence line.

Online retailers anymore don't stock a whole lot. Even when they list things as "in stock" likely don't usually have it, they drop ship larger items straight from their distributors. Can't really blame them, why pay for and store a large expensive item when the distributor can sit on it until you have a buyer. I think the reason they list it as in stock is to get you to buy from them, it's easier to ask for forgiveness. They all for the most part use the same distributors anyway.

Hey, what a coincidence. I do too. It works, but you should aerate/dethatch once every few years I have discovered.

My last house had a trash policy of 8 bags or bins up to a certain size, doesn't matter what is in them. A lot of people put their grass and leaves in with that.

I don't bother to rake leaves. I mulch and catch them with the mower then either spread them out in a "natural" tree area or bag them in lawn bags and leave them at the curb. It's amazing how compact leaves get when you mulch them.

I visited the 86speed office when I was in Vegas a few years ago. The place is about 20 feet wide and 50 feet long. There is a staff of 3.
Not sure what people picture when they deal with these highly specialized places but they are not Amazon.
That said, they should make it more clear when they actually do have something "in stock" as apposed to having to order it.

Look at all those green thumbs out here... I'm jack of all trades, but green thumb is one skill I never got. I even killed 4 cactus and 2 mint plants.

That's what I was thinking. We just barely moved in, so we got shit ton of garbage to cover it up lol

Damn, that sounds like too much work for just a grass...

We got this lucky free upgrade to a Hemi-powered Dodge pickup truck that did nice burnouts and stuff for a rental. The 'manual' shifting was a button on the steering wheel though like it was part of the cruise control or stereo controls or something... like WTF Dodge you're too cool to have paddles like everyone else? I'd rather have a dang column shifter than steering wheel shift buttons.
