You got hit while running a train? ..........

I watched a dude in a piece of shit 240 damn near total a 370z. They were 3 deep and the z was the middle car. The lead car ebraked it, the z ebraked it, the 240 just smashed him and drove him sideways off the coarse into a ditch and laid the 370z on it's side. If you gonna ride close it's def imperative to pay attention

So I juat did the psm subframe and diff risers amd was wondering if anyone else who has done it noticed any play from the axle where it connects to the diff. It's definitely in there solidly but I am able to wiggle it about a 1/4 in or so from side to side

I'll throw a spanner in the works.

I don't feel the diff/subframe risers are needed.

Running at 30-35mm lower, all axle angles are fine, as is the suspension geometry. Now if you go lower than this, these things are all thrown off, and this is what these risers are for, to return your axle angles and geomtry back in range.

So really it comes down to the ride height you want to run. Sure, 60mm lower might look more 'gank' than 30mm lower, but now you're so low, you're far more likely to damage the car when you eventually have an off.

At my ride height (which you can probably guess is about 35mm lower) I don't have the need for these riser kits, and also dont fuck my car when if I go off course.

Yeah subframe/diff risers are definitely not needed unless you are extremely low, and the car doesn't function properly at all. I hate that I need to spend all this extra money just to keep it reliable at such a low height.

My car doesn't react properly, the height makes it harder to drive, its putting excessive stress on the axles, the tires rubs immensely everywhere up front, higher chance of damage underneath, and honestly I don't recommend it unless you are absolutely all about this look and style.

It is purely stylistic but it just looks too damn cool to me!

^So sick.

I'm at the same point. I'm lowered about 2.5" and I could definitely use them. I want to go a tad but lower but I refuse to do so until I have the risers installed to keep from running into other issues

That's a pretty honest reflection of enduring the low life

I should warn some of you tho about the risers, with both installed you do get a lot of noise from the diff. This is of course with my back seat down but it's a noticeable whine when it spins and the occasional clunk when shifting hard. But overall I dont mind the noise and it stiffens up the rear a bit. Also I just don't want to take a chance breaking an axle from hard driving/drifting etc

I like the noise personally. It's soothing to the mind.

I'm planning on doing the diff risers. Anyone got a clip of what it sounds like?

Here's the video

Best audio quality I could get. The whine is noticable but most of the time the exhaust drowns that noise out
