Removing the side window glass, airbags, Invidia q300 SS muffler, and every interior panel other than the dash really nets some loss. I even gutted the headlights before I wrapped them for an additional 4.6 lbs loss. lol. Every bit counts.

Got out on track this weekend to shake off the dust! Thankfully my local test track is allowing members to drive under a strict social distancing policy. I signed up to bed my brakes but ended up staying most of the day and taking a second off my personal best! The Advan A052s have a amazing grip and the 100 lb diet was very noticeable. I believe there is more in it with a few tweaks.

Past few days have been busy. I am competing in a local time attack at Pineview Run. I took the win in my class and the overall fastest lap time of the day. A few of the fastest class competitors didn't make the first event. I don't expect that result to stick at every event but still a fun stat.
Also, This gem popped up on craigslist and I had to buy it. 1995 M3 that recently arrived from California. The bottom of it looks new. When I looked under the car I asked the previous owner if the control arms were replaced recently. Turns out when a car doesn't see salt everything looks new forever. As a NY resident, I was not aware of this. lol. She is going to fill the nice weather/backup track car slot. Already bought a set of wheels and 200tw tires. Just need an Adias jump suit and I will be good to go.
