is300 to Monogram Asphalt FRS *Picture UPDATE 10/12/14*

Here's my introduction!

I picked up my Monogram Asphalt Frs this past week. My daily driver is a 02 graphite gray pearl is300. I'm excited to start modding the frs in the same fashion as my is300, mainly Trd.
I've already got quite a few parts on the way but will take a few weeks to get here. *hint hint*.

I'll periodically add onto this thread when I have time.

8/1/14 BONE STOCK

few add ons as of 8/16/14

TRD Shift knob

Toyota emblems and OEM Foglights with nokya yellow bulbs

Update 10/12/14

Tom's JDM Clear Taillights

BRZ Headlights

A 2jz is still a 2jz. Even a small turbo with the higher compression of the NA should still be great. However, it's all about fitting a v160 in that bad boy to pretty much make it complete.

I'm having the same problems as you. Don't know which car to mod haha. Just bought a turbo kit for my mr2. Before that I got wheels for the FRS lol.

Speaking boost and tranny, I might be upgrading the is300 in those two departments soon

Yea, isn't the v160 like an $8000 swap (all new)? Pricey but you're getting one of the best manual gearboxes to have ever exist.

I got a buddy converting an auto 94 supra tt to 6spd at the moment.

Nice. We got our cars at the same dealer. I hope they didn't mar your front bumper with the license plate screws like they did with mine!

I probably saw pics of your IS back on is300.net - I used to go to that site a ton back in the day since I love (but sadly have never owned/been in!) the IS300.
