Looks like s2k on Hankook RS4, 86 on Michelin PS4, Miata on Bridgestone S-04
Probably not a whole lot in the tires, maybe slight nod to RS4 but certainly not 3 seconds worth! |

Correction - the slower S2K was on RS3, it was the faster prepped S2K that was on RS4.

So I'm looking at the ND vs the 124...noticed the Fiat has huge discounts right now, but has worse reliability ratings. Not sure what its issue is though. Any info from y'all? Is the 124 worth the headaches vs the ND?

The Fiat has a fiat engine - maybe the root of the reliability problems?

This time we did two runs from 5-90 mph. He was ahead by 1/2 car length the first run and 1 car length the second. Either the HFC/Hondata tune made a small difference on his car or my heavier/taller track wheel setup is slowing me down, or both. I also got some wheelhop on the 1-2 shift but he said he did as well. Fun runs either way. I like the 5k VTEC engagement on the Hondata tune. Powerband is noticeably wider now (5k-8k RPM). There's no more VTEC kick but I'd take usable midrange power anyday. One other thing I noticed today is call me crazy but I prefer the sound of my FA20 currently over his F22C. It didn't used to be like that so that was interesting after this past round of mods.

Not crazy - after adding headers + mild catback (P&L 4-1, Greddy) I think the FA20 sounds pretty good. Nice mechanical sounds + a deep howl. Adding the supercharger helped too. |

Haha supercharger whine makes anything sound better!
