Post FA20Club tuning policy change

FA20Club has been working hard to ensure that the brand continues to deliver the service and support that everyone has come to love. As such FA20club has taken the time to review our customers feed back and have revised the log/tuning process Starting 11/11/13.

FA20Club is the premier tuner for the Scion FRS, Subaru Brz, and the Toyota GT86. The FA20Club tunes are great way to enhance your cars performance. From this point forward FA20Club will no longer allow unlimited free submission of logs for review and enhancement. FA20Club will now provide a a scheduled appointment system. Using an online calendar it will allow you to book an appoint for your logs to be reviewed in a timely manner. This process is best used by you when you choose a day which allows you to dedicate your time in allowing the entire day going back/forth logging to expedite your tuning process. The FA20Club Calendar system is limited to no more than 2 appointments per month and a total of 3 appointments maximum. Some weekend days will be available but will surely fill quickly.

FA20Club have always provided free updates but as FA20Club's customer base has grown in comparison to our competitors and of course the feedback of you the consumer FA20Club has reviewed and created a more structured system. All FA20Club's base files a more than safe to drive around and you car is no immediate danger. So do not feel the need to rush and or force the process.

FA20Club values everyone in the FRS, BRZ and GT86 community and this will make FA20Club's free service more accessible in a timely manner for all who wish to participate.

Any questions do not hesitate to contact me. For any/all emergency issues please call us directly at 888-657-1444.

Here is a video on how to create a proper file when submitting.

If additional time is needed beyond the three they will be considered on a case by case bases as every situation is different. IF a fee will need to be assessed we can guarantee that it will be under $100 and at times as little as $25. We will provide our customers a complimentary session with the purchase of your new part from FA20Club directly. "we do offer price matching "

Sounds good. This was to be expected as the number of people getting these tunes has grown dramatically. I appreciate the great service so far.

This statement confuses me. Are you saying I have 3 shots with Toni and if he can't get my tune where I want it after 3 tries I am told to kick rocks?

Additional questions:

I've supplied 4 forced induction datalogs thus far and Toni has told me that we're not done yet. Is my existing process still in progress and separate from the 3 or will it officially count as 1 of the 3 once Toni and I agree to a day of datalogging/tuning and call it "complete"?

If I add some mods later that require tuning, and I hit the 3 cap but want to continue on, how much will additional tunes be? Is it the same price for every 3 days of tuning?

Finally, if for whatever reason, the tuning is not completed within a day and Toni agrees that there is still some logging that needs to go back, do we continue on another day and still count it as 1 hit or does it now incur a second hit?

Well ... yeah. What do you expect? Does nobody realize / appreciate the extreme convenience of this remote tuning process? If you're in a hurry - go to a local tuner or something.

To date i believe you have only had one tune by Toni and we are not in the business to tell people to "kick rocks". You have a full day once scheduled to have your car dialed in which would equate to having 3 custom tunes. This is the reason we advise to select a full day where you can send files back and forth.

Once you make your appointment date we will begin from there for you. This is to streamline the timeliness for all of our customers.

Once you add mods later you will need to book another session. We are currently working on the package for additional tuning sessions.

your last questions will be considered on a case by case bases as every situation is different.

What about logs that have been submitted already (i.e. almost a month ago) that we've yet to receive tune files for? Should we still be expecting to receive a tune, or no?
