Cylinder Head Differences 2013-14 vs 2017+

Are there differences in the cylinder heads from 2013-2014 and 2017+? I did a few searches and didn't see any obvious threads on the topic. I have a 2013 motor I'm rebuilding and it was suggested that I should find a set of 2017+ heads to put on it.

Any help is appreciated.

Keith

Give this a read. Basic info but gives some nice detail on the changes in the engine. Don't see anything about head changes really.

2014 is the first revision on the head. 2014 the rocker pivots all have same size holes, on the 2013 engine I think the it is the passenger head, the rocker pivots have smaller holes.

2014 heads have longer stems on the valves, and the rocker arms have deeper pivots.

Do the 2017+ heads still have issues with the rockers falling out?

It’s hit n miss, even with the 13’s. It should be improved, but is still possible.
