I wonder what it looks like if you play with fiberglass or something and make it look like it's one piece with the trunk.

Molding costs a fortune in labor. I was quoted a pretty penny to do it to my wing...it would be cheaper to buy a trunk that already has a wing molded into it.

FYI, anyone taking off the OEM spoiler for the FR-S, there's no plastic tabs. Instead you use a 10mm socket driver and a TT30 Torx driver just in case.
I finished my OEM removal and installed my TRD spoiler yesterday, what a pain it was to guess the pieces since it's a 3 min walk from my car to my house, going up and down the stairs about 20 times was not what I wanted. |

Draco, what did you use to relocate the brz emblem to the frs location. I like that position a lot better. Care to explain what tools to use? Thanks

I bought a new BRZ emblem from my local Subaru Dealership and threw out the original. Have your VIN handy when you order. Subaru was being tightfisted with the emblems when I ordered mine. |

I dropped one of the spoiler screws when taking off the OEM into the trunk lid... anyone else hate Subaru's design with that?
I tried fishing for it with a magnetic pole, but there wasn't enough clearance so I couldn't get it out. But now when I drive, I hear it rattling around on the inside. Someone help me lol!

Maybe try putting a cloth on the paint, and then use a strong-ish magnet from the outside and move the screw closer to an access point? Not sure if this would work or not. You could try doing it from the underside of the trunk as well, which might be safer. Otherwise remove the trunk and try and get it to roll out? lol... |
