Correct me if im wrong.. amuse use a higher grade titanium than tomei. Amuse use aerospace ssti titanium thats why its cost is much higher?!

The TRD griffon concept has a ti header but it was a projext without budget :/ doubt it will ever come into production.

That's what Amuse claims, but after seeing it in person I have no doubt that is true.

What comes from HKS that's made in China?

Actually TRD Griffon has stainless steel headers and not Titanium. It only has a Titanium mid pipe and exhaust.

http://www.trdparts.jp/conceptcar/griffon/

ステンレス製エキゾーストマニホールド(キャタライザーレス)
Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold (Catalyzer-less)

チタン製エキゾーストパイプ(センター&テール)
Titanium Exhaust Pipe (Center & Tail)

if you look through the forum many members have had HKS exhaust leaked and cracked on them, I think their demo and drift cars are much different than the stuff they mass produce and sell in north america

the "race" headers seem to be all 4-2-1 design. It was hard to see in the pic but now I see the first merge is visible and the second merge happens right before the overpipe. like

Stuff in the first post looks like total junk. You'd be mad to buy it.

If that exhaust is priced near the buddy club spec 2 then choosing between the two got alot harder.

*edit* just noticed the exhaust is titanium and will be alot :<

Rather than ask me, ask HKS directly if the product you are enquiring about is made in Japan, or designing in japan.

HKS are one of the common tuners, like Greddy or Cusco. They can make good stuff, they also have had many quality issues. They are far from being classed as one of Japans top quality parts producers, and anyone stating that they are - I guarantee either just doesnt know of better manufacturers, or has never purchased anything from a better manufacturer.
