Honestly, the design likely will work. How well will be determined when it starts racing but AMB, like Velox, does CFD analysis as part of his development process.

That being said, he wouldn't design something that isn't better or at the very least functional without proving it in simulation first. While there are a lot of people who still may not fully believe in CFD analysis, it is extremely powerful and, to my knowledge, only way to improve performance aerodynamically without producing a single component.

Front wing is on par for racing at this level, if not a bit small honestly.

Thanks,
Eric

I don't doubt that it will work. The aerodynamics of it make sense in a purpose-built vehicle intended solely for an event where you design for every advantage you can get.

But it's still ugly as hell. Street ricers are going to see that and say, "I want that! Panties are gonna drop with a wet smack when I cruise the Walmart parking lot with that lip on my car!"

My sentiments exactly.

I don't think it's just 1980's Japan. Just imagine the downforce!

Eventually the finger pointing over Japan's weird shit gets pointed back at the US anyways.

Actually I do blame 1980s Japan.

Look up "super silhouette" cars from the 1970s and 1980s.
