I did start to lean BRZ after learning about some of the differences but I still think I prefer the 86's front bumper more. BRZ still looks pretty good to me in certain colors though.

GR86 looks much better to me with a similarity to Supra. BRZ not that much, as mentioned it gets a bit better in some colors.

At 4:58: "torque is up 15%"
... while showing 151 vs 184 numbers.

Someone forgot to study math.

The most important change and they did it wrong. SOA will need to fix the commercial.

There is a saying, better to under promise and over deliver. Just leave it I say.

Maybe they mean it’s up 15% across the whole rev range? The increase isn’t 20% everywhere.

My favourite part of the video was this comment on the creation.

"...A sports car, that's affordable and built to be driven, rather than live parked in the garages of the wealthy..."

Yes sir.

Well, they specifically said simply "up 15%" when showing those two numbers.

This is a marketing video. If something is up 15% and they show the baseline number, the new number should be 15% higher than the baseline.

... and the should have said "peak torque is up 15%", but the whole "peak torque vs simply torque" is another topic for discussion.

doesn't matter. general mass audience doesn't care or isn't gonna ask detailed questions.

Also ❤️ the video, alas all that was missing was a nod to Tada San.
