I believe it is 7 years from date of manufacture is recommended. For a performance car it’s better to be safe than sorry, so maybe earlier. But inspecting them can tell you. I have snow tires for my WRX that are now 7 years old and look perfect. I will run them another year or two. Can you imagine how many people in this country are on old tires. If the average car is about 12 years old, I would not be surprised if the tires are close to that. Tires are not cheap and the average joe probably runs them until bald and inspection picks it up.
