Wow! This was great advice!! I just did a yelp search on Mossy. Needless to say, I'm a little scared after what i just read and i will be doing my own oil changes! Sucks, but i would rather it be done right.

Thank you for this advice!

This is what I did as well. I just did my homework and made sure the dealership I was going to had good reviews.

My dealer just gives me the oil & filters and lets me do the oil changes myself. They write it up like they do it.

Lucky, I doubt most dealerships will be that cool. I'm going to try it though

I don't have any confidence in my dealership: they had stripped two bolts holding in the underpanel and there are marks from an impact gun.

Anyone who has bought an extended warranty or maintenance and has or is planning to install a mod that will break the warranty, you can cancel these!

Extended warranty is prorated from day 1, while extended maintenance plan is prorated from 2 years (after the complimentary maintenance has expired).

The amount will go towards your principle if your car is financed, or you'll get a check if your car is paid off.

Source: I just cancelled my old car's last month.

Protip: Don't forget to cancel the GAP too if you plan to trade-in your car.
