Any "older" BRZ/86 drivers here?

I just (finally!) bought a BRZ, and was curious if there are any other 'older' drivers here (searched but couldn't find a thread on the topic).

At 62, I suspect I'm probably one of the older (if not oldest) people here. I read recently that the median age of BRZ/86 buyers was 36, compared to 60 for Miata buyers.

So how about it? Anyone else out there? Am I the only 60-something BRZ owner in the world?

(Excuse me while I go chase some neighborhood kids off my lawn).

I'm not quite 62 at 46, but I'll help you chase those kids off your lawn.

Hate to break it to you but at 62 you are not even close to being the oldest here. In fact of the regulars you are probably right in the middle. There are dozens of us in the 60 plus range. Got me beat by a couple of years though.
The demographic that buys these cars new is far older than you would think. The age gap is widening as the used ones get cheaper though.

I'll be 75 on Oct 30, and Humphries is about a year older than I am.

Well, I'm older than you, and my son just bought a Miata. Go figure. BTW, his Miata was the first I've driven, and it is impressive. There are things Miata does better than ours, engine response and midrange grunt for one, IMO.

55 here. I think the demographic is either buy one thinking you are not gonna have kids, or, in my case, after they move out...lol.
