The event cost $295, which is a bit steep, but they do provide you everything including a personal coach for all day, people to help you with tire pressures/heat, lunch, water, etc. And that's for around 100 minutes of seat time, as I said in my write up.

And yep, sold my catback. Just running the muffler delete on a stock exhaust til I get the headers (2nd week of August hopefully).

Yeah that is actually a pretty good value, considering what is included! I think I would like to try Thunder Hill as my first if I decide to do one. What about Sonoma/Infineon? Is there a reason I haven't seen that track mentioned?

Nice, I bet the header is going to sound great on the stock exhaust!! Love the stealth factor!

I would definitely recommend THill for your first time. Sonoma Raceway is a little more challenging from what I can tell, and there is not as much runoff. At THill you really only have to worry about one wall.

sonoma raceway is a more technical track.

NASA only charges $170 a day with a dedicated instructor for the whole day.

Chris pretty much nailed it on the answer. THill is the most beginner-friendly track and highly recommended for 1st timers. Laguna and Sonoma are both riskier, less margin for error, and it is typical to see people have accidents/damage there on any given track day.

We do drive Mines Rd quite often, it's one of my favorites. Did it not too long ago, and it's always fun. Lots of events coming up in the next few weekends, so perhaps we should hold that until after 86FEST.

@overlookedx @omegared19

OK Ian I'll add one for you. I spent all of 10 min looking for the best deal.

I'm looking at getting the 2" WHITE Thunderhill decal which will match up with the 2" Laguna Seca one I already have. I'm also going to get another LS sticker for my helmet. It's $2.00 plus shipping. So $2.50 per sticker. $3.00 if you want the larger 4" sticker. If you'd like to donate to 86DRIVE feel free to round up to $4 or $5.

I have the following people's requests:
Thunderhill track outline - white
Chris (3)
Plato (2)
Ian (1)

Laguna Seca track outline - white
Plato (1)

Let me know ASAP if you want additional stickers, or want something other than white or 2" size. At additional cost of course.

Isn't 2" pretty small for a sticker? I just looked it up and ihatestickers.com has 4" stickers for $2.50.

Nice, that one didn't turn up on my google search. Guess I am not a sticker connoisseur, don't know the best sites. I can order from them instead they also have LS sticker.

Yeah 2" is small but I don't want a big sticker. My Laguna Seca one is 2" tall and I want it to match. For me 4" is too big but let me know which sizes you want and color.

??? I'm not even sure what that means, but hit me!

oh btw with the time it takes for order processing and shipping, it will be about 2-3 weeks before I get these stickers it looks like. Hope you guys are not expecting these in time for 86FEST for instance.
