Probably for the better cause once you got the header on your gas mileage may go down significantly due to your right foot.

Mine took a little over a month, which was fine. These are often made to order. Also depends on if you got the coating (extra week), plus shipping time. Best way to get ahold of them is to call.

no extra coating for mine but im sure theyre swamped with holiday orders. i ordered through a third party to save shipping so dont wanna call direct and the third party doesnt know much.

so the waiting continues..

Nice welds and fitment. I got a catted UEL and it's very quiet with the stock front pipe and Perrin 2.5" resonated. Dialed everything in with a Delicious Ecutek tune. Car is running like a champ. If I could do it over again I'd probably go catless for the extra gains.

Get your third party dealer to earn their money and get an ETA from JDL.

Installation was easy, like oem. Nice welds, and that suby rumble...

just one note to look out for...

My JDL header rubbed against my kick plate in two locations. Double check the clearance.

I banged my kick plate with a hammer and added washer spaces on the kick plate.

I have a catless version, Everytime I do a cold start I wish I waited for the catted version. It's so damn loud even with my catted and resonated front/over pipe and invidia q300 exhaust (one of the quietest cat back you can get aftermarket)

@Imrac - interesting. I guess I should be happy with the catted version then!

Which front pipe do you have? Maybe going back to the stock front pipe would quiet things down a little.

@dtrop - I saw some mentions of clearance issues in the past, but mine had plenty of clearance. Seems like JDL had a short period of time where someone building headers wasn't using the fixture properly. Apparently that guy doesn't work there anymore.
