Someone help, new user, wheels rubbing!

I recently bought a brz with 18 inch enkei rs05rr fitted with 235/40/18 tyres. But I find that when I'm going down hills and turning my front wheels rub somewhere in the fender. I think its behind the wheel itself but i'm not sure. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what can I do to fix it?

Edit: I do not know the offset of the rims, but it wouldn't be that negative. Also im fairly sure its the tyre rubbing not the rim.
Edit: The car is also on a stock suspension and is not lowered

Jack up car, remove wheel and find where it is rubbing.

What size and offset are the rims?

Is the car lowered?

Do you have adjustable coilovers?

Do you have a sane wheel alignment IRT camber and toe?

My 235/45 17 on Enkei RPF-1, 17 x 8 +45, clear everywhere, the tyres are 25.33" diameter, yours are 25.4", stock is 24.62".

I would hazard to guess your ride height, offset or size, or combination of all 3, are not compatable.

Disclaimer: I used google for the tyre diameter size.

Need to know the wheel offset. Likely it is rubbing the spring perch if it is on stock struts.

you can put wheel spacers on th bump it away from the inner well/ suspension parts. you run the risk then of rubbing on your fenders, but you might get by with no problems. take the wheel off and inspect it

Our cars don't handle 9"+ wide wheels and less than +40 offset on stock suspension. It will rub. Get coilovers to significantly increase the space for wheels if you want wide wheels
