If I've learned anything from Zach, it's wait for the VVT to be activated, I'm wondering if yours isn't on yet.

Are you running the driver side still? Picking up a lot of oil?

I have a passenger side one installed, been wondering if I should do the other side or not.

I routed the passenger side lines to the drivers side because it's easier to empty. The recycle line back to the intake never picked up anything, so I just removed those lines and vented to atmosphere.

Weird, I have move hooked directly to the pcv and getting like an ounce per pill change. Strange.

So your driver's side has been collecting a lot of blowby?

Passenger side to TB, I read yours as driver side to air box.

Perhaps we are talking about the same side collecting

I think so, it was passenger side collecting, but I routed those lines to driver's side now for easier access.

Gotcha, just longer lines. We're on the same page. I guess I don't need the second can then . Thank you!

I also don't get much on the driver's side with std hose routing. I do pick up tiny amounts on the passenger side. I would agree that a standard routed driver side isn't pickup much.

As far as the vvt is concerned it's active. Or at least says it is. With the new roms they have programmed in a triple flash on the check engine light to let you know if it isn't active.

So I think I've found the issue. It appears to me that my bypass valve is sticking open? It opens normally under vacuum but when I try pulling the line off the valve it doesn't release immediately. And the time it takes to drop differs each time.
I tried to take a video to show it but it's kind of difficult to get an angle of both but your can hear the click is the valve. From what I'm understanding that delay is not normal.
My thought is that it's opening just slightly too far and it's getting stuck like an old carb that didn't have the stops adjusted correctly. Is there an adjustable stop or will I need to remove the whole valve to fix it?

I looked at this on mine when it was apart. You can try to reposition so it doesn't open quite as far, block the movement from opening fully or get in there and deburr the opening around the bypass port.

There are stops for the actuator, it is adjustable and has a lock nut on it. That is all set at the factory, I would be very leery of moving those. I can't tell from the video what you are referring to, when you connect the vacuum hose back up it will take a moment for that air column to reach the vacuum level to close the valve.
