Drivers seat clicking sounds when driving?

My seat makes clicking sounds as I drive and take corners. Something loose with the frame or something? Anyone had this and know the exact cause and how to fix?

No, I haven't had that problem, but if I did, I reckon I'd start by tightening down the bolts that hold the seat down. I hear that the bolts with that "weird head" can be a bitch to work with.

I'll notify my buddy @Ultramaroon - if I recall proper, he has experience with those seat bolts, maybe he can help.

Do both rails lock properly and evenly as you operate the adjustment latch? I've never had the clicking but bad stuff happens if both sides aren't lined up together.

So the first thing I’ve tried today was torque the seat bolts down to 53nm on all 4. Nothing helped. Still clicking when I drive and take corners. Only thing I can think of left is to try your tip, realign the rails if they are out of line. Or I see if there’s any bolts that need tightening? The rails? Frame? Etc

I once found a broken tooth from one of the interlocking finger thingys.

Had the seat ever been removed prior to the onset of the clicking sound? If not, I would look above the rails because those screws are in there super tight.

Can the sound be reproduced by pulling or twisting the seat base? How about the seat back? A similar toothed locking mechanism holds the angle of the seat back at both hinges. If I'm not careful to wait until the adjustment lever has fully sunken into the locked position before I lean into the seat back, only one side of the mechanism engages.

It seems most of the sound happens when I rest my back on the back rest mainly. But noise still happens on the base of the seat. It’s coming form everywhere! I’ll take it out later and give it a good inspection
