looks ok up to arround 5500 , you just start to get a tiny bit of knock. Be interested to see a run to redline as they do add a bit of timing past 5500 compared to standard tune.

your 92 must be pretty good quality

looks much better than i thought it would :-)

I have updated my OFT template to allow logging of throttle position, brake pressure, steering angle, gear selection etc, and have exported the csv file. If I use HLT/Racechrono as a laptimer to record the GPS value and export this to another csv file, how can I integrate both datalogs to dashware to compile a video? How do I sync both datalog csv files?

So things have gotten a little interesting... I ended up with a drop in K&N filter and a Perrin unresonated 2.5" exhaust. Here is a 1st to 2nd pull at WOT. Still have to get some time to learn about all this data but figured I'd share and hear your thoughts.

You can minimize the dip if you get a catless header but with just a Stage 1 tune there is not a lot of change.

Really don't want to put a header on it, but it's good to know that it won't really do much for me. Maybe I'll put it back up on here for sale. Thanks!

Somewhere there is a plot of stock vs stage 1 vs stage 2 on here. Have a look for that.

EDIT: Found it.

Yeah I saw that which prompted me to buy the OFT

$400 isn't bad for the gains, in my opinion, without having to swap any physical parts. Seemed like a reasonable deal.

Edit: Is my method correct, though? In regards to the launch control settings.

I did make one mistake for sure. I did ALL of this before marrying the device to my car, and after I did that the default files are now "Stg1 A01C.bin" instead of the one I noted before.

So, it would seem that I need to go back and edit the "Stg1 A01C.bin" files instead of using the "Stg 1 D00C.bin" files. Does that sound correct?

Yes. You need to connect the OFT to the car first to get the correct ROM version.

Okay, so I am sure I have done some minor mistake, but I cannot quite figure out what it is. I took a bunch of screenshots of the software as I was going along, so hopefully this helps explain things.

I connected the OFT to the PC and ran it through all the updates. Thereafter, I connected it to the car, read the car's stock ECU, and now I am back on the PC. I want to send a few launch control based files to the OFT, but I need to of course modify the files.

I will only use Stage 1, 91 octane files for my tune(s) with varying launch control RPMs. Otherwise, all other settings will remain as-is.

First step was to connect the OFT to the software, and on the side I would run the RomRaider. I know that I need to add the appropriate Definition file to RomRaider, but this is where I am a little confused as to which of the two files I should use? So, I started with the first one as it matched the naming in the CAL box.

I then navigated to the appropriate Stage 1, 91 octane folder, and proceeded to select the matching file that populated in the OFT software. When doing so, I got this error in RomRaider.

Okay, then I figured I should use the other file (see the first picture), so I first removed the first file and then added the second file.

Back to the Stage 1 folder, selected that file again, and I was hit with some Checksum errors. Per the FAQ this is not a major concern, so onward we go.

I then went in to Launch Control setting and set the parameters to what I want. In this case I want the max RPM set to 2000 thus entered in 5600.

Thereafter, I went to save the file and was again prompted by two errors.

Back to the Openflash Manager software. I clicked the Upload Data button, deleted one of the storage spots.

After that I added in the tune that I just created from RomRaider, but I was immediately hit by this error and could not proceed.

I repeated these steps several times, and I always get hit with that error at the end which prevents me from doing anything.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
