TMG Racing Parts info

Does anyone know about purchasing these TMG parts? I'm wondering if you need to be part of a team or present pro racer credentials. Thanks

You have to own the race car to have access to the spare parts.

A few items are actually available in the aftermarket. Depending on what you want, maybe you could try to get in contact with a team and see if they can order something for you? IMO, TMG should be like Porsche where as long as you throw money down, you can order Cup parts without owning the race car.

Yeh some things seem like they could be available to the average consumer. TMG probably doesn't want to deal with the headache.

So far I'm looking at the TMG Air intake and the brake cooling duct. If they will fit a stock car idk, but I believe they would. I may be wrong .

I don't recommend thier brake cooling kit as your wheels will rub against the ducts at turns or with different wheels. Also its does not have a brake duct backing plate. You are better off with Velox brake cooling kit which is way cheaper also.

I know the guy that helped develop these cars in Germany. He is local to me. Also a friend owns one of the full TMG cars that lives 10 minutes away. If you need help or think this would be beneficial to you somehow please send me a private message. I know the brake ducts are not ideal and we are working on a solution to that. There is also a shifter piece my friend is reproducing that should increase durability of the transmission.

I have a TMG car, and getting the bits is a bit of pain.

Brake ducts we have binned the originals as you have to run lock limiters so you don't hit them, after I broke one I fabbed up my own cooling set up as its a lot cheaper.

I don't run the revised intake, but not sure how much of an advantage it gives.

The cars are largely stock with the FIA safety parts. Most parts you can find equivalent or better in the after market.

The real good stuff is out of the rally car program, motec ecu's, fully adjustable spherical bearing suspension, bag tank etc.

That lip looks to be the same multi-pieced lip from the toyota GRMN 86. Those were a special series of gt86 only sold in Japan with a number of enhancements that were priced at about twice as much as what typical gt86 would cost. If you do intend to hunt one down, expect a very high price for it.
