What do you mean by full conversion? I meant buy an actual tS. Did the tS get disallowed from STX?

Start around 30, you have around a 3-4 PSI window where times appear to not change but behavior of the car and feel of the tire does. Adjust as you see fit.

Can you explain a full conversion, and how to ensure you convert it properly? ex. you need XYZ and dont need ABC from a standard brz to a TS

Full conversion = full conversion. It's easier and smarter to just buy a ts if you want the aero (which doesn't do anything at autocross anyway)

Aero is disallowed in autox (lower classes) for a reason

In both Street and Street Touring, the rule is that you can convert a car from one spec to another if you do *all* the changes. So if you want package B and it includes an aero kit, springs, seats, and a giant subwoofer then you have to install all of those parts, not just the bits you like. If you want to mix and match, then it's time to move to Street Prepared, which allows update/backdate of any individual part from the same line in the class listing.

XS-A might be a cheaper alternative but its region only

If you're serious about an XSA car I think you'll dump $10k+ into the engine, you'll want to push >350whp methinks, which will eat trannys. You'll be playing on 295-315 wide tires so you're not saving much on tires even though they're 200tw.

Does LPSP allow update backdate? I'd go play in DSP if cost was a concern, the car makes good power on E85 and not cutting the fenders should keep you on <275 tires. A 315/30/18 BFG is more expensive than a 275/35/17 A7.

But if competitiveness isn't a priority play with whatever tires make you happy.

Honestly I think you're light on the $10k figure on a reliable turbo build. I think UP/BP is not legal for LPSP, but I haven't paid much attention because I don't think twins can be competitive against a full prep RX8

not to split hairs but youd be in XS B since removing the spare would drop you below the 2750lb limit of A
