Says the guy rocking Rotas.... Seriously? In the real world, aero is extremely important for track cars. This is meant to be a track car. You should be happy they put that much research and engineering into it.

I can understand where you're coming from, but instead of outright attacking him, why not ask him to clarify his definition of "downgrade"? What makes the S2000 a downgrade in his eyes? I wasn't attacking. Just responding to "Buddy, its an opinion.. I suggest you go take your anger management issues else where kid, i could only assume you're one by your actions. Apparently this isn't the first time you attack someone for no apparent reason.

All useless clutter aside interested to see what the production car will look like, between this and the focus rs things are looking a lot more interesting for car enthusiasts.

I don't even like Civics, but it's super annoying seeing people whine and complain about the aesthetics of functional aero. See it on youtube all the time. "EWWW TAKE OFF THAT RICER WING!" |

I don't even know if it's functional man I was just saying is not my thing. From the rear it looks like it's got three wings but then again I'm not a pro, just don't see why you gotta make fun of my cheap rotas when we're simply discussing or better yet speculating on a car that's not even out yet. By the way I owned ap2 fully built, Hytech itbs full exhaust cams... as well as an s13 with an sr swap, and this was a good 8 years ago when sr20's were the thing. Seems that at least we agree on some cars.

I really don't care about the Rotas. I'm a ****. sorry. Functional aero is badass though! Did you see the wind tunnel vid? That shit is cool. It's cool me to see manufacturers ignore the general population's ignorance about aero and develop it anyway. I know there will be some ricers out there daily driving the new Type R and not need any of that aero, but there will be people tracking them too! |

it will always be a Civic. Not a sports car built from the ground up. Just a "sporty hatch/coupe"

Incorrect. 86 was purpose built as a sports vehicle. It does not have a four door bastard child. It does not have a hatch-back. It does not have a 6-cylinder luxury model covered in leather and chrome. The 86 was built from the ground up to be exactly what it is: A light weight, toss-able, affordable sports car.

Fuck ya'll haters, I think it looks sick. I had an 08' Si brand new and that car was extremely fun on coilovers. I can't wait to see what people can do with this chassis, it looks very promising.

I'm sure that thing has to be a blast to drive on the track and off with the proposed motor. Overall I'm always enthusiastic about any true sports car coming out. I've never had a civic but i did have an LS integra back in the days and was very close to owning a civic many times. Lately its mostly electric and smaller engines so its exciting to see cars for true enthusiasts. Like you said there will always be the ricers that make things look bad no matter what they drive lol.
