My car's booked in for its annual service, the standard tyres are going to be replaced although they only have 6.7k miles under their tread blocks. My dilemma, PSS or the Cup 2? Price difference is about $28.50 per tyres so its not the money but whether the Cup 2 is too much for the chassis.

I have about 2weeks to make up my mind.... I can't discuss this with my wife or work colleagues as all I get is a blank look and WTF expression!! So off loading here amongst friends who do give a shit!

Where and how are you going to use? Only daily driving, or for track? Or mix of some proportion?

The intention is to mix approximately 80:20. I like the idea of sticky tires for the road and as I don't do much mileage I can live with shorter life spans. Also I don't do much winter driving or wet weather.

JD001: I'd seriously look at getting some Michelin PS4. As a road tyre they are amazing, the dry grip is fantastic equally the wet grip is night and day over any other tyre I've used. On track they are brilliant, I've not overheated them yet (15min sessions) and could easily go longer if it wasn't for oil temps.

If you want another opinion speak to @DeaconRoc, he's ran Cup 2's and is currently running PS4's.

Hi Will, I'll look into PS4. Did you run with 215s or 225s?

Yes, they are fantastic tires. Almost 90% the dry grip of the AD08R and much better wet grip. A street tire that can be used also on track.
