Flash back to stock for valve spring recall?

I'm currently running the catted FT86SF header along with an OFT tune and thinking about doing the valve spring recall so I can avoid paying for labor to change the spark plugs and to reseal a leaky timing chain cover.

Do I need to flash back to stock before bringing it in?

Yes. Dealers aren't very happy if their scan tools don't work

Well if you're not running ecutek you're obviously not interested in making a 200hp car run like a 200hp car. I wouldn't be surprised if the dealer scolds you for using a shitty oft tune. Lol jk

FYI they will still charge you the same for any job that is not related to the recall. Just a heads up. It may or may not be lower. Not sure how much of penis your dealership is.

I'm running a stage 1 tune, have been for 2 years, and didn't flash to stock before I brought it in. Not only was it NOT a problem the tech said he dialed in one or two things that he felt the parameters were off. He's pretty hip to these things though which helped, I wouldn't count on it being that way at all dealerships but I don't htink you need to worry about it.
