Dont chuck all FI kits in the same pot. Some overheat more than others.....some dont at all

As for track times N/A vs FI well I suspect it is a matter of driver ability. Faster requires more skill to go 10/10ths.

If your fi is too hot... You just haven't spent enough money yet. Better radiator, vented hood, etcetc

I'm at 240/200 at the rear and need to upgrade wheels & tires. Like mentioned above, very slippery on stocks. I can step on the throttle in 1st-3rd and spin no problem especially in any wet weather.

Guess I'd have to lite foot it in twisties
It's fine... unless you're driving in semi-cold weather, in the rain and that when you decide to give throttle the rear jumps in the air (tires spin in the air) and continue spinning once they regain traction.... that's gonna be a bad time.

Aside from that, I can make it go sideways if I want to but stay composed if I need to. I have a KW C38 kit btw (so top end power is where it's the riskiest). Keep in mind I also have a lot of suspension/handling components that were also modded.

I'm currently on stock-size winter tires and make about 265whp with my supercharger. With traction control off, I have to be very careful accelerating from a stop. If I apply any more pressure than 'bare minimum' to the gas pedal, it'll spin the tires until third gear.

Find someone local to take you for a ride.

I'm 335/276 and with 255 rear tires and smooth driving I don't worry to much about spinning when the weather is nice. Sure if you hammer it they'll spin but come on now.

The secret to the primacy's is that they are slippery at anything under 400whp, that's when they come alive!

I had 260/210 with 255/40 Continential ExtremeContact DWS06s and broke 1/2/3 as well with the Sprintex kit.
Then again, I also had -2.5degree camber in the rear, so that could explain 3rd with such a large tire.

Ya I'm entirely stock wheels and tires and blimping the gas in a turn does result in a sideways car. Going strait I just spin the tires. It's all fun for a afternoon, weekend car. I'll never track it.

I rather have no traction and not eat factory transmission gears at the moment.

Man I spin all the time must be something wrong with my car, even on just wastegate springs only rolling on it they break loose......

But I like it
I'm only 640/521
