Hey @pmccut and @gdrider77, how is the Exedy Stage 1 clutch holding up? Curious about your long term impressions, have been thinking about buying one for my SC install in a couple weeks

No problems so far. Probably only at 250wtq right now though. Still the easiest and most ddable clutch.

On my old wrx i was using the act heavy duty street clutch held 400wtq just fine and i put over 100 drag passes on it with no problems at all its a nice compromise for street and race not overly stiff and not to noisy

FX400 with 4 puck.

Quite a bit of chatter, can be fixed by raising idle speed in EcuTEK to 1,000. The clutch holds power very well.

Everyday driving is kinda poor though. What helped was a one-piece driveshaft and rear diff brace/bushing.

ugh I want the Exedy but worried about holding power over time...Limited to probably 250-260wtq at most on my setup.

My stock clutch is slipping bad right now...between Exedy and probably the ACT Street.

Exedy long time users please chime in.

Would an FX400 with an 8 puck chatter a little less or a lot less?

I wonder if it's really worth spending the extra money for the exedy twin disc for better DD ability.

I just found something interesting on clutch masters website, seems there is an option for a full faces fx400 and a puck style 400...wat

The clutchmasters 725 series TD is $300 cheaper, I'd love to see a compairison between those two.

Whomever has an FX400 and wants less chatter and better drivability, I have the FX350 disc for sale and it uses all components from the FX400 (meaning it will bolt right up to the FX 400 P.P. and FW ), except is full face and DD friendlier.

I will never put a puck clutch in a DD. They are a PITA.
