not sure if any of you guys remember my clutch issues i was having a few months back when i had trouble getting it into gears. Well the problem has popped up a few times since i replaced my clutch but i s happening more now. Ive narrowed down what needs to happen and how its fixed. It only happens if the car has been sitting for a bit and i drive it after the temps have dropped, when the car is off it goes into every gear fine, when its running it wont (as if i have no clutch or am not pressing the pedal) and theres no pedal feeling. After pumping the clutch pedal several times I start to regain feeling in the clutch pedal, that is i finally feel the biting point. My dad whos a mechanic told me it might be an internal leak in the master cylinder which seems to make sense, I guess the temp drop affects the clutch fluid and then me pumping the pedal pushes air bubbles out or something, after pumping it many times the cars drives perfectly normal. Do any of you guys have a second opinion or is my dads guess pretty accurate? Going to buy parts soon so hopefully i can get a second opinion

Clutch has its own reservoir...

Oh, I reckon the system has air in it OR the master cylinder is bad OR the slave cylinder is bad.

I'd start by bleeding the system.

You may wish to recheck that ......

At least my 2013 has them separate.

Someone I know (with the same symptoms as you) just replaced their slave and it supposedly fixed their issues.

I too am experiencing this with about 9k on my replacement ACT clutch. Already bled the system, but the problem came back. Slave is going to be next.

My bad, one of those times I made an assumption because it's been a pretty common design practice elsewhere. Definitely don't like to misinform.

I had this same issue in my GS-R and it turned out to be a leak in the one rubber hose in the clutch system, that usually connects to the slave cylinder. Check that hose for leaks.

It looks like this:

Full detail today, wash, clay bar, and a wax! Looks better than the day I brought it home...less the creeping crack on my windshield :P

Washed my FR-S today. I love how clean and simple (yet sexy) this design is. Makes washing quick and easy.

I also installed Philips Diamond Vision bulbs for the low-beams and chrome amber bulbs for the rear turn signals a couple days ago.
