You might consider ordering a filter from Amazon and have it delivered.

mrs humfrz just scored some TP through Walmart, on line, for store pick up.

Drive up - pick up tomorrow from 1 PM to 2 pm. We shall see how that works. Maybe I should go up armed, just in case our account gets hacked and they know I'm picking up TP and try to rob me?

I saw a news article that a car in Eugene got broken into and two 30 roll packs were stolen out of it along with other items Though it did not look like they broke into it solely for the TP.

My extremely religious cousin has been posting stuff all over FB since this started. She calls herself a self sufficient farmer, she has a few goats and chickens and a vegetable garden. She is more or less a trust fund city kid whose father bankrolled their property and building of their house. Pretty much as far from "self sufficient farmer" as you can be since her tea business failed to the point her husband had to go back to work. I commented that until she gets off her ivory tower of judgement I will be avoided all extended family gatherings. I am going to hang out with her brother today, this should be amusing.

I assume she doesn't buy seeds or anything?
When we lived in the suburbs and had a yard, up till we had neighbors start destroying our garden, we had ~4000 square yards of garden, nearly all heirloom, and we'd save seeds for the next season. That was not nearly enough to be self-sufficient...) Clearly visible on google, it was. Soil quality held things back though, it was rough. Lots of work. Sorta miss it sometimes, though.

Farming is in the family, though not directly... it's always interesting to ask questions about very specific things they should know. And hope they don't.

She buys seeds. She buys most of their groceries. They buy almost all of their meat.

Even her organic tea business was just mixing of loose leaf she bought. She didn't grow tea, and grew very little of the herbs she used in her blends.

WOW! Over 3/4 of an acre is a BIG garden, for a home in the suburbs - ??
