While I agree that words can have their meaning change over time I am suggesting for a social/peer group there has to be consensus on what a word means.
"See that bitch over there?" means something at a dog show compared to two wannabe dudes strolling down the 'hood but in each case the meaning is understood.

I am suggesting without definition communication is impossible.

That failure is all about the terrible at-limit stability control.

As for canyons, going fast in the land of blind corners requires slowing down when you can't see what's coming then flooring it when you can. It also requires handling bumps mid-corner, which just sets my FRS into oversteer.

Obviously, the use of sports car is not critical. It is mostly annoying to some.
Meaning IS all about usage. If definitions were great, people could read a sentence, look up the definition, and gain understanding more than half the time. I'm not saying definitions don't matter. I'm saying that meaning comes from usage and intention, not what's written in a book.

I get your point, but I doubt a bunch of people sit down to discuss the meaning of the word "bitch" before they use it. They just know meaning from context. The same people could say, "Geeze, your mom is a bitch," "Check out those fine bitches," "Getting this bolt off was a bitch," and "I hope to buy and breed a bitch," in the same day. And I bet you know what I mean from all of those sentences.
