my dad once had a homeless guy come up to him on his lunch break, while he was eating lunch in a parking lot in the truck. absolutely begging him for money, almost didn't leave him alone.

my dad was almost done with his lunch, but still had a peanut butter bar left, so he offered it to the guy out of sympathy.

the guy immediately turns his nose, and starts walking away while he says "i don't eat junk food."

Trying to decide about putting a complaint about one of my neighbors. He's in the unit downstairs and one unit over from me.

He keeps playing video games super late at night with heavy bass, so I can hear even from my bathroom/bedroom the opposite side of my unit the rumbling and stuff.

The other night it got so bad at 11:30PM I finally went and knocked on his door to tell him. I had to ring his doorbell because he didn't answer the knock. He turned it off, then a little while later turned it back on, then finally stopped around midnight.

But he's doing it again tonight.

The rules in the rental agreement say no loud music after 10PM IIRC and that in general sound shouldn't be absurdly loud. There's a clause in there that if you get 3 official complaints, you'll be evicted.

But I hate being "the bad guy"/snitch, so....

I had <5 male friends and >15 female friends in highschool so that part seems normal to me.

Yeah that's a problem. I showed some common courtesy by just politely informing him, but it means he knows me (sort of) now.
