Boosting this platform was probably the best decision ever, all these cars initiated a race, I don't like initiating that kind of stuff but i'll take part of someone wants to:

- Turbo MazdaSpeed3 (All I could see was a silver aftermarket intercooler): Bus lengths on the highway
- 328i (Crackle tune, wow): Nothing to be proud of, they're slow as hell
- Full-bolt on, catless downpipe, exhaust, tuned 2016 STI: Proper roll race, beat him by half a car, these things are quick
- 2015+ Mustang GT: Bus lengths on highway
- Porsche classic from the 70's, no idea what model: Normally would just go gaga over it because it's an iconic car, but the old guy made eye contact with me and went full-throttle so I did too, bus lengths

Out of all these, only the Mustang driver was pissed off that I walked him, I tried to give a thumbs up after and he just exited the high way, people need to lighten up

A large portion of muscle car owners are extremely insecure. Micro pp problems.

I think Silverados and F-150's have a speed limiter at about 98 mph. And Dodge Ram is about 105.

So if big trucks are giving you trouble just drive faster heh.

Yikes, imagine being speed limited and not drag limited like the rest of us slow folks.

In high school, I learned ford rangers hit the limit at 98mph. Then it chimes angrily, the fuel cuts off, and the service engine light comes on.

It was terrifying when it happened.

Around here half of the SUVs are unmarked or stealth marked cops.

Yes they have a max speed limit but with the gobs of power and torque they have they get to that limit very very quickly. By the time they hit it they are gone.

Horrifying. Isn't there a bit of a crackdown going on over there?

The 3 liter barely had enough power to do burnouts. One wheeler peeler.

I'm new to the sportscar world, although I drove a little SCCA autocross with my dad when I was a lot younger. I literally just went from a Wrangler starting in 2006 to the 86 last month as a daily driver. I'm about 15 years into a law enforcement career, so really pushing a car to its safe limits isn't terribly foreign. But you can imagine my thoughts about hoons and various kids with shocker stickers, bolt-on wings, fart pipes, and their hats on sideways. Anyway...

I've been in this 2020 86 for about three weeks now. The challenges to me in my stock car are pretty much daily. At least people sizing me up. It's taken a lot of self-control so far. I really, really love driving. And I am starting to daydream about mods. Might as well go order that shocker sticker.
