Couple of them are mildly clickbaity. The headline for the one for the villa makes it sound like it was a new find when it was actually dug 150 years ago. I recently watched a really good special on the carbonized scrolls they found there. Only took them 140 years to figure out how to unroll and read them. Once they got them open they were pretty much all mundane bureaucratic things. They gave insight into some day to day transactions and how little things have actually changed though.

The "glass brain" one is also deceiving since they show a big chunk of actual molten glass as an example but when you read through it what they found was almost microscopic and not what the picture shows.

Same thing with a cat, but they'll just knock them over because they are *ssholes. Then proceed to sleep on top of the board.

Yeah, only some burnt fingers. It started squeaking really loud from the steam escaping and I was able to open the door and undo a latch to vent it before we hit criticality.

TIL that in Georgia, you can register Flex Fuel vehicles as "alternate fuel vehicles" which qualifies you to ride solo in the carpool lanes.

My 2004 Suburban qualifies...too bad I don't drive solo frequently where there are carpool lanes. I'd see if I could get a personal FFV license that says "Irony"

You made me realize today that I have never seen a carpool lane in Idaho.
