Adding mine to the list, not a popular combo from what I can tell by a search.

It's a really noticeable improvement in ride quality with just over 4 lbs less unsprung weight a corner (which is what my track setup comes to)... the car is much more planted and stable (which is also probably due to the wider track from better offset). Stock size sticky performance tires on lighweight 17x8 wheels (I have +36mm offset Kosei K4R's [~15.6lbs] with 215/45-17 Kumho Ecsta XS mounted) also really bring out the precision and quickness of the FRS chassis.

Nice BRZ you have there Guillaume. A track day at Spa would be fun!

Thanks! Spa is a terrific track indeed, well suited to our chassis but would be even more fun with some extra power

17x7.5 +48 5x100 with 215/45R17 Potenza RE-71R. I only got this size so that I could reuse tires I had. Suspension is Bilstein B6 and Hotchkis lowering springs.

I see you went with the 7.5 due to tyre size, were you not happy putting the 215 on an 8 inch wheel?

BTW always seems like the silver looks bigger than the black in the same size with the RPf1

Like the centre caps where did you get them?

I'm not doing anything too crazy with the car and went 7.5" with weight reduction in mind. I also have limited experience with stretched tires so I played it safe. I think visually they are on the small side but it is what it is.

I definitely notice the weight savings over the OEM wheels, the car is much smoother at speed and feels less crashy over bumps.

I got the caps here: https://flatoutgfx.com/products/enkei-rpf1-center-caps

thanks for the link, will check out the caps.

I think 7.5 is a good choice for 215 tyres, I'm about to put 215 on my 8" RPF1 so will soon see how it looks.
