220F and higher is quite normal in other cars under track usage or even hot weather in-town usage with A/C on. Is the FA20 *really* gonna fall apart at that temp? "Red" zone for most cars us up around 250F. Not that you'd want to keep it there...

Mike, is the front fender liner's vent section a riveted on part or moulded into the liner itself?

One more valving change on the prototype CSG FLA, validate on old chassis, and then the new FLA may be ready to go....

Any chance you guys can test-fit whether a 1st gen intake manifold can physically bolt to the 2nd gen FA24D motor? I'm sure Harrop and Edelbrock know already but they're not sharing at the moment...
