In the current tS version the rear subframe is back to stock form. It is number 20152 in the picture:

All the changed parts are marked with (*)

So it was different at some point then? That's interesting. Was wondering why a couple of those subframe spacers wouldn't fit and if there were other structural changes that we might benefit from. I already purchased a bunch of subframe parts for the front and rear and was worried that if I tried the tS subframe they might not work together.

There's no indication that the black garnishes will be released for public purchase. The car has been out for a couple months and japanparts had said its exhausted all available tS parts they can get.

Darn. I love the silver ones but man those gloss black ones just pop. I suppose you could always have the silvers ones painted but I am trying my best to stick to factory parts/mods only. My alternative is to order the black Hyper.Blue garnish accent piece but that just wouldn't be the same. Thanks for the heads up though.

For those who doesn't understand Cantonese here's my fob translation.

Basically the dude is saying that the 86/BRZ has debut since 4 years ago, you might have already messed with it, tuned it, or even sold it already. Late last year STI released a limited edition model of 300 units in Japan. The term 'tS' means tuned by STI. If STI has a hand on it, then it obviously must be good shit. In order to build a tS model, the standard car is delivered from the factory to STI, and then it takes 2 weeks to make all the required modifications and upgrades before delivery. When compared to the standard 86/BRZ, driving this tS model has a much higher chassis rigidity especially when going thru long sweepers, along with better sound deadening (behind the dash/center console, inside the doors, behind the rear seats) the overall experience has a hint of higher class German like attributes. The combo of Bilstein suspension with Michelin PSS tires also contributes to this more German car feel, which is quite surprising. Very stable on fast corners in which the standard car doesn't even come close. The lighter rear axle gives a better response when accelerating thru slow corners or accelerating instantly after deliberate engine braking downshifts. Some say if you buy an used 86/BRZ, then spend the rest of the money on mods, the result would be as fast as a rocket. However, not everybody is knowledgeable enough at this level of car tuning. This car is more for people that wants a special car, along with STI technical tuning expertise, this is the only logical choice. Unfortunately it is all already sold out.

Is it possible to order the recaro seats from the dealership and have them shipped to the states? or are they made in limited quantities and available only in japan.

other than primer for PU and so other, there is clear coat with additives for flexibility. A little percentage must be add. Ask at your bodywork, they do. Flex additive is for bumpers i.g.
