Anyone had a chance to look at the new Enkei GTC02 yet? I’m interested in getting the 18x9 +42 size. I’ve already ordered some GReddy x KW coilovers. Also thinking about pairing the wheels up with 245/35R18 tires. Anything I should consider with this setup?

You should be fine and should not have any fitment issues. You may want to get Rear Lower Control Arms to adjust camber for the rear. Once you lower the car will gain negative naturally so it can be uneven on both side and only to way to correct it is with the control arms.

Konig makes a decent wheel these days. As a brand they're not "reps" or garbage, but not quite a "quality" wheel, either, unless you're talking about their newer flow forged lines. For me, Enkei is a cut above Konig. Enkei has been making OEM wheels for decades. If Konig keeps on their current trend, and continues to build their brand, opinions may change. They have a lot of work to do, however, after mailing it in for most of the 90's and 2000's! Apart from the Dekas, etc, some of their current offerings are head-scratchers... but I guess you have to sell wheels, and there is a market for bad taste.

Over the years I've run Volks, BBS, RAYS, SSRs, Enkeis, all the way down to my favorite Racing-Hart CP-05 knockoff, the Rota Sub-Zero. And a good few in between. Enkeis are a great OEM quality option. They're every bit as good as a cast RAYS or BBS wheel, in my experience. Materials, process, quality control, and proper R&D play a huge part in the quality of the wheel. And you pay for every step along the way. Go up to a forged wheel and the gap widens. Yada, yada.

Wheels are, at the end of the day, disposable. But they're also among the most important parts for your car in terms of performance, safety, and appearance. The best performing, most robust, and best looking wheels I've had have been "legit" wheels, like forged BBS, Volks, and my current, quasi-forged SSRs. You do get what you pay for. FWIW though, I'll take a smaller, used set of Volks over a new set of hellafit whatevers for the same price, any day!

I'm looking at some 17x9 +38 wheels and I checked on wheelitfit and with stock suspension there's only 2mm between the suspension and the wheel... This leaves very little room. Should I be worried?

17x9 up to at least +42 fit. +38 is no problem.

was looking to triple check and make sure this wheel and tire setup will work with my car. looking at an 18x9.5 +38 set with 255/35R18 tires. i have a pair of tein s tech springs on which drops the car overall 1.5 inches. theres no camber in front and -2.5 in rear. i feel like rears will be ok but thinking i might just need a camber bolt for the fronts for about 1.5 negative

Does anyone know if the new setup will have any clearance issues with stock suspension?
17x8 +45 235/40/17

Im honestly not sure if that is going to be fit. You may need to drop down to a 245/35 or 235/40. Keep in mind all tires are different and have different variances. If it does not fit you can run a 3-5mm spacer up front. You definitely wont be able to add any camber if any in the front. Rears you should be fine.

I have 17x9 +40 wheels, OEM sized strut and springs and will run 245/40 tires. Currently running -3 camber front, and -2.5 camber rear with about 20mm drop from the springs.

I know I'll need spacers to fit the wheels and tires. Should I get 10mm or 5mm? I was going to get 10mm but not sure if it will hit the fenders during compression. On Wheel it fit, 5mm spacers show 11mm of suspension distance. Is that enough distance to be safe? Thanks.

With the 10mm spacer you should be ok depending on how much camber you can get up front to avoid rubbing and also 20mm drop isnt enough to cause rubbing. Keep in mind if you get 10mm spacers it is recommended you get extended studs as well. You should be fine with a 5mm spacer also. On stock length studs a 3-5mm spacer is generally acceptable.

Has anyone run 235/40/18 up front without any rubbing issue? 18x9.5 +38 lowered about 2-3 inches. On coilover with -2 camber all around. Ive tried 255/35 and it was way too big
