Ok so I'm assuming the colors of the wires on the procede match the colors on mine correct? Also Let me know if you have the new version of phantom with the new bulky connection to the foot pedal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The colors on the wires do appear to be the same as those in your video: One green wire with a white-ish line and one with a black-ish line. I've attached a pic of the connection to the pedal switch.

Ok here's the fun part.... One of those wires (on the switch connection) is the one you would solder to the wire on the procede that contains the audio jack. Of course you would cut off the audio jack but which wire it needs to be is unknown. You could test or wait for rob. I'm assuming that one wire is the ground, one is the partial boost voltage wire and one is the full voltage wire. Im guessing it would be the red one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

connect securely all other Procede connections (ie, ecu, ground, power) and then remove the female audio end connector to give you a little free bare wire. Similarly, get yourself access to the three wires that go to your pedal switch. It's possible I think, to press with a very tiny screwdriver in the barbed bit in the back of the pins in the connector and that lets you pull free the wires. You can then go for a little test drive somewhere safe, hand twisting together the procede trigger wire with one of the pedal switching wires, take an educated guess and start with the red one. You'll know immediately when you press 70%+ throttle if it's the correct wire – it'll pull like a WOT run on the pedal switch setup, and the voltmeter will show a big drop off. If the red doesn't work try the next, and so on. Take note of the wire that works, then go home and make the connection properly. Done! |

Good idea @dtek! I think I'll give this a shot later. If things don't go according to plan though, I think I'll wait for Rob.

Alright, I have joined the ESC party.
I just completed my install and took a spin around the block. WOW! This is how the car should have felt from the factory. It took me approximately 2.5 hours to complete the install. That includes accidentally dropping my socket wrench on the dump packs and creating a circuit which shot sparks everywhere and melted part of the wrench and bolts. I needed to run down to ACE for new bolts. The only real issue I had with the kit (aside from my own dumb mistake mentioned above), is the hose leading from the air box to the compressor is too long. I tried to cut it, but I had too much difficulty doing so with my primitive tools (I broke my only pair of scissors the other day and my x-acto blade has a rounded tip. I ultimately gave up on cutting it shorter. You will see in my photos that the compressor really needs to be shifted over about 1/4 of an inch to line up perfectly. Other than that, the install went smooth. My ghetto cutting did not work: This is my only concern. This red cable touches the heat sink on the main controller box. I tried moving it but there is no way to position it where it does not touch. My poor socket wrench: Overall, the kit is very well put together and very easy to install. I look forward to picking up the proceed controller in a month or two. |

Yeah, I figured I would keep an eye on the voltage meter in the car to see if it struggles to get back to 28.4v. I hope they continue to work fine. It would suck to have to buy new batteries. I still cant believe I dropped the wrench and it just happened to fall perfectly straight onto the other side. What bad luck that was. |
