It's been a bit but it has also been a bit slow lately.

Swapped front 500lb/in springs for 450lb/in in an effort to improve the cars balance.

I also have something exciting coming this weekend, a teaser I know.

I signed up for a hpde/time attack in a couple weeks. This format is a bit different as it's a standing start. I suspect it will be like a large scale high speed autox.

Picked up my car this weekend from having a rollbar put in.
Lots of work ahead painting and fitting the side panels.

I have a set of momo race seats that will make their way in but that might be for next year.

Had a successful weekend, first in class.

I'll put up some videos once I can put them together.

Still have some minor balance issues to work through but the softer front springs helped. I'm going to try a rear swaybar next.

*Edit: ordered a Perrin 16mm adjustable rear swaybar.

Couple more autoxs this year but that's about it for this season. This fall out next spring I'll put in the race seats and harnesses then that's about it.

Video from the weekend.

This was my second fastest run despite completely blowing the apex at turn 6

McMaster ftw. I have no idea why endlinks are so expensive for this car. I'm not happy with the ball and socket though and will probably replace those with rod ends at some point.

I also ordered new lines for the oil cooler so I can mount it to the bumper beam. The current ones were just a little too short forcing me to mount it to the bottom tray.

Hey thanks!
I always wonder if anyone reads these.

This past weekend was my last autox for the year. Clean sweep in STX although competition was weak this year. Hoping some make the jump to STX next year.

The car felt great with the addition of the rear swaybar and I also lowered the rear a bit to gain camber. I'm cautiously excited with how the car handles. The surface it a bit weird at this event so there is that. But, that said, the balance of the car was near perfect, better than I ever got my Miata to work.

That's it for me this year, only thing left is to clean the car up and stuff it in storage.

My to-do list for next year:
-New oil cooler lines and mount oil cooler to bumper beam
-Mount race seats and harnesses
-Oil pressure gauge or light?
-Fab lightweight axle-back

Bring it.

Bought myself a little gift. I had been borrowing the same piece from a friend and was starting to feel guilty. I'm also planning on making a string setup. This should make things easier than setting up jackstands each time, it will also allow me to roll the car which should be slightly more accurate than leaving it static.

Also working on a new shifter setup.

Did you compare this to other products such as the quick trip setup?
