There is also a titanium based STI performance muffler, but still not sure if will make it to production. Currently , these parts are considered concept performance parts.

Check the price and you'll change your mind... SS version STi JDM axleback best price is 1600€+shipping and taxes... (I have it on mine)

BTW: Toyota red door grips are the same color of 2017 door armrest stripe, but tS armrests are a darker red, so they need specific Subaru door grips.

is there a general consensus that Ti exhausts change the exhaust note? in the motorcycle world the pinnacle exhausts are Ti Akrapovic headers, they make the most power and the Ti sounds a little different. it seems like the only reason for Ti in car world is weight savings, correct? car exhausts in Ti weigh a fraction of SS.

Titanium icreases exhaust tone and frequenty so usually it is much more loud than usual stainless steel backboxes

I'd say both the sound and weight savings are the reasons for having a Ti exhaust. I own a Tomei 60S titanium exhaust and have tried a couple of other SS systems. Ti is definitely more aggressive/raspy/metallic and louder than SS. I'm not sure if it's just the material or the thinner walls, or a combination of the two.

It basically has a more "racecar/motorsports" sound, which I love, but I can understand it's not for everyone, especially on a daily driver. However, I've been daily driving with the Tomei for almost 6 years now haha. I think it suits the fun nature of this car.

Reviving an old thread... Does anyone know how we can get the front tS trim? I can't find it anywhere now other than the vinyl version from ft86sf.

Hey hey. I haven't updated my car on my "build" thread in some time ... added a few more STI goodies ... but that's besides the point.

The part number you're looking for is:
J1210CA301 - Front Red/Cherry Stripe tS Molding
One way to order

Hope that helps!

Hi, all. For anyone who has added the rear stripe to their car, any pointers on a perfect install? I'm assuming the second pink portion is a template of some sort? Thanks in advance!

Not specific to the stripe, this video does a good job explaining how to install large decals

I assume the stripe process would be similar.
