2nd trackday in FR-S
A couple months ago I took out my bone stock FR-S 6 speed on track....well I did the same yesterday while my racer was still getting repaired (same as last time too)
This time I took it out with all traction control off......MUCH BETTER...my lap times were nearly identical to last time, but the brakes held up much better......with traction contol on sport mode they were cooked in 3 laps....with it off they held up the whole 20 minute session.... The tires really are horrible and a serious limiting factor.....but new rubber and better brake pads would make this an excellent drive to the track and have a blast type ride.....easily the most neutral street car I have ever driven.....drive clean and smooth and its got slight understeer.....which you can correct with throttle super easy.....turn in aggressive and its a nice controlable drift with ease.... Here is some pics http://www.gotbluemilk.com/web120921/51/index.html My racer is also #51...plus a yellow vette..... |
