Oil leak help please
The car runs fine, doesn’t overheat but the smell is pretty bad after long ish drives and there is obviously oil there but not sure at all where it could be coming from. The level seems to not move but I am definitely burning oil when I’m driving. Here is a picture, Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys, merry Xmas!

If you're in front of the engine look down the right side of the engine. There is a common leakage toward the bottom.
Someone back me up, what is the part that leaks. Cam cover? I forget. Check that section of the engine for oil sludge. You could also check the oil return plate (used if auto, but manual covers it with a plate). If you need specifics let me know I'll find the names of the parts or get you some pics. Right above the headers, no wonder it's burning it.

Isn't there a TSB for the seal being crap work. I'm pretty sure that's the cause. (I have the same issue but I'm waiting for the recall to take care of it since it's going to pull off the cover anyways - I assume)

@Strife26
@MCTeeJ Thanks guys, good to know it's not as bad as it smells haha. Will get a chance to lift it and take a look under the engine today to take a better look! Will post developments. Cheers!

Yeah it's more because it's above the header and burning off. A lot of people have the same leak on the driver's side but since it doesn't burn it just drips onto the pan and mixes with dirt lol.
