IF, if time or curiosity allows, do a run with the hood closed vs open. I'm willing to bet power drops by 20-30whp. My kit sounded way better with the air intake in the Jackson's location but performed better with the intake in the bumper like OEM.

I cant remember for the na tunes but the supercharger one was with hood closed and a big ass fan blowing. It was like 75 degrees too.

I am probably gonna put some vents in the hood to help with airflow just havent gotten around to it

What whistle are you talking about? The one from the recirculation valve?

Yes, it occurs at idle and goes away as soon as any throttle is applied, so i figure is the recirc valve making that sound

Idle at WOT I guess. It also does it when you are engine braking and just rolling around. It is how the system works. All that air is being forced into your engine hitting your closed throttle plate and has no where to go but out the recirculation valve.

The valve in the kit is quietest valve you can get. It's a OEM valve used on many turbo vehicles.

I been running a GFB T9225 diverter valve since last October. I actually bought it, hope for some more noise. But, if anything it is quieter than the kit BOV at all throttle positions including idle.

Jackson Racing is offering a quieter alternative to the one that comes in the kit as well. https://jacksonracing.com/product/hi...-bypass-valve/ "Great for enthusiasts not wanting to be noticed but wanting the performance and reliability benefits of a quality BOV."

It's not quieter than the standard Bypass Valve in the kit. It is quieter than a Blow Off Valve.
