Some goodies showed up. Beastronix nanny killer.

Finally had a chance to put my car on scales.

Almost a little unsatisfying as the corner weights were good enough didn't have to touch it.

That's 2625 for those of you that can't math. Plus 12 lbs since the front bumper was still off. 2637 with a half tank of gas.

Seats and harnesses are in! This is a win as I'm heading to Road America next weekend.

Nice build!

A few questions:
Where did you get the muffler delete? And are the videos on page 2 without the muffler? It doesn't seem to make the car overly loud?

Nice bracket for the oil cooler. Self made I assume? It's difficult to see details in the pictures, can you describe how you made it and how it mounts up to the crash beam?

Thanks!

My trip to Road America was a complete disaster. Second session of the first day I popped an oil cooler line which started a fire. The track crew was there very quickly and got it put out without too much damage. I spent most of the weekend trying to work through the issues and finally got it stated the next day. Seemed like it ran ok so I tried to take it out again only to make it half a lap and have the engine seize. I guess even though it wasn't making any sounds damage had been done when the oil cooler line popped off.

It's a plm muffler delete, I bought it from a friend cheap, otherwise I would have just made one. It's loud, too loud for the street IMO. I think it was ok prior to removing the header cat. I have a video with an external mic that I'll post up.

The mount is just square alum tubing cut at an angle and alum sheet to stabilize and help route air through the cooler. I used nutserts in the crash beam and bolted directly into that.

Still no motor but I did find a nice guy that was interested in having a oem spoiler so we swapped trunks. This will allow me to run NASA without taking points for a spoiler/wing. I have mixed feelings about the looks but whatever.

I found my rod bearings in my oil filter. No luck finding an engine locally so I'll be ordering of eBay in the next week or so.

Finally got around to swapping engines. The actual swap was easy. Installing the Di and wiring harness was a pain.

It lives!!!! Fired up first try, which is amazing since there are roughly 5000 connectors on the engine.
