Datalogging question

Hi all, I have tuned my car with an OFT and would like to see how things are running post tune. It's currently running the v4 stage 2+ tune, using 93 octane gas regularly. I don't really know what kind of driving needs to be recorded, so I'm hoping someone could give me a bit of guidance. I did record a few logs yesterday with the default settings, but I have no idea what I'm really looking for.

Mods:
Perrin drop-in intake
Perrin intake tube
Gruppe-s UEL header
Gruppe-S overpipe
Invidia Q300 catback

https://datazap.me/u/balf/more-driving?log=0&data=1

I appreciate any help.

Looks ok, maf looks good, maybe next time log also flkc, so you can see if some knock occurs

and do a WOT from 2k to redline in 3rd gear, like smash the pedal exactly at 2k rpm

More logs

Alright, I found some time and clear roads to finally get some clean(ish) pulls in 3rd gear as requested. There was maybe 5 minutes of driving around time between the 3 recordings.

I appreciate the input.

Any thoughts? I see some FLKC, but IAM never changed. Does that mean anything?

remove a bit of ignition timing from 4800 to redline, like -0.7 from 4800 to 6000, and -1,05 from 6000 to redline

I was wondering if anyone could take a look at these for me. I was thinking that I might have an exhaust leak after I installed some JDL headers and saw what I thought were high LFTF but after reading around i'm not sure if its anything I should be worried about.

OFT E85 Tune
Perrin Drop in filter
JDL Headers

3rd gear pull

seems good, a bit goofy afr that goes rich on low rpm /high load and goes leaner on higher rpm, shouldn't be a problem on e85, maybe fix a bit the maf scaling

I haven't got around to actually changing anything in the tune, but i did take another log today for the hell of it. This one shows positive flkc from 1600 to 3500. I've never seen it be positive before. What could that represent?

positive means it knocked much enough to let the advance multiplier go down from 1, and te tries to let him go uo again advancing the timing

when it s positive you have an adv multiplier of 0.94, it succeded raising it to 1 again, but shortly after started to knock and correct the timing again

remove 0,35 of ign timing from 4600 to 5200, remove 0,7 from 5600 to 6000, and remove 1,05 from 6400 to redline and you should be ok

Thanks for the info. I finally got around to flashing an adjusted tune, but based on your previous recommendations. Third gear pulls as always in all these logs. Another question....how much driving should I be doing in between flashing and logging? The ECU needs time to feel things out, right? These logs were recorded the same day as flashing, but after about an hour of varied driving (highway and traffic).

Side note, I've been hunting down what sounds like an exhaust leak. Would a substantial enough leak cause any performance issues that could be recognized in a log? I feel like i'd want to get everything all sealed up before trying to get the tune just right. Or is that nonsense?

still knocky, and rich
you could pass on the rich but try remove 1.05 degrees ign tining from 4600 to 6000 and 1.75 from 6000 to redline

I'm using an unmodified OFT 4.01 tune (The one with the quiet start and starting at 0.7 for the timing advance)

I noticed late last year that it was having a hard time getting back up to 1 from .7.

So now that the car is back out this year i started having a closer look at it.

I'm running 94 octane fuel, 10% ethanol, which i've never had issues with in years past.

Car has UEL header and full invidia cat back, BPB installed.

I have a weak coil on #1 cylinder and will be replacing it shortly.

Here is my log from a track day session this past saturday.

https://datazap.me/u/tractoy/log-155...0?log=0&data=1

Anyone offer some insight?

My only two options as i've not changed anything on the car is either the weak coil is causing the issue, or the BPB with the updated OFT tune. My Old tune file i had changed to support the blocks.

Anyway, any help or insight would be welcome.

Thanks.

Hi, Can someone look at my logs also please. I think my AFR is not good and should scale my MAF. Also, I'm seeing negative FLKC.

Mods: Perrin CAI, OFH UEL with Perrin OP, Berk FP and Invidia CB.
