BRZ will be in Forza Horizon

Couldn't find a specific thread for this - Not sure if anyone has posted it yet. Looks like Forza beat Gran Turismo to the BRZ.

That's a GT300, but I'm probably gonna skip Horizon. It's just Need For Speed.

I have to this thread and inform those of you who are ill-informed of this amazing game about to be released.

Ever wanted to take a car from Forza 4/GT5 and just drive it balls our on the highway, street, or your favorite canyon road? Well, no other game in history will come as close to that as Forza Horizon.

No, it's not "just Need for Speed". It has full 100% Forza physics, customization (twin-turbo Gallardo highway/wangan racing anyone?), and on top of that, probably the biggest, most beautifully-rendered driving world ever conceived.

This isn't just an arcade TestDriveUnlimited clone. No, this is probably going to be the best free-roam racing game ever made for the console. Think about anything you'd like to do on any part of the world with any desirable car(or truck!) and BOOM: You can do it in Horizon!

I HOPE this is true. however after watching videos of the game online I find it more and more to being like need for speed. For example, in FH, you can drive through grass, dirt, fences and over curbs in a 2013 Viper, all at about 160mph.... That is nothing like Forza, much closer to NFS. Another issue I have is in the videos you see cars having head on collisions at 150+ mph, slowing to about 120 and regaining speed almost immediately, no spinout, major crash, slide off of the road, nothing. This is yet again a feature of NFS and NOT Forza. Forza is not just about the driver control physics, (although that is a HUGE factor) its also about realistic driving experience, which FH clearly is NOT.

I am very hopeful for this game, I have been a Forza fan since the beginning. That being said the more and more I look into this game, the more disappointed I get.

I will be buying it, and looking forward to driving the BRZ. I just bought the August car pack to drive the FR-S yesterday. Makes a decent A class car.

Yeah yeah, the crashing simulation may not be FULL on simulation, but c'mon guys! Forza Horizon is the closest thing to "Let me get whatever car i choose, throw my money at it, and just hoon around and do as I wish with friends online!"

Who wouldn't want that?!

Basically the current consoles don't have the power to have both Forza 4 realism and open world driving in one game. I'd love a "road rally" game with Forza physics where google maps is the limit, but I'm doubtful Horizons is it.

it's still a BRZ. Horizon will be nothing like the NFS franchise.

Hate to say it, but this is wishful thinking. Horizon will pander to the NFS crowd aka children. Arcade on the rails driving is what you should expect.

Regardless, it's still going to be awesome fun! The freedom of realism + open-world games is always at its pinnacle every time a game like this comes a long!

It could only be a good thing: progress.

Oh c'mon, it's a point-reward system! And yeah, it's supposed to be a mix, or should i say a "bridging-the-gap" scenario between simulation-physics and arcade dynamics of the open road!

I think it's a win-win situation if you ask me, ESPECIALLY considering that Horizon is just a demonstration of how much greater Forza 5 will be. (implementation of new lighting technology, bigger environments, etc. proving that the 360 can do it!)
