I did some hiking on a nearby lake in North Carolina. It was nice. I'll bet the houses here are pretty cheap (by the sqft anyway).

5br 4.5 bath, 6,245sqft on 10 acres, fantastic location with a view. If 3 others/couples went in on it with us, we could actually live in mansion... And not be broke... Oh and there's a pool and garage, each of which is larger than the house that sparked this discussion... |

I've had at&t tv and internet for several years. I've never had a problem. They strung new fibre optic line. They switched me from the 100 year old style phone line to the fibre optic line last week with new modem and dvr. They said my internet would be 100 times faster and tv picture sharper.
Well, bullshit. My internet is the same, and my tv has gone out 3 times today, about 5 times in a week, and freezes constantly The first 2 times today I unplugging it and rebooting has worked, till now. I've done the non disaster recovery procedure about 4 times, then the disaster recovery twice now with no luck. The screen has a red x with the number 8 under it. There support site says basically I'm fucked. I'm so firing at&t. |

So I got a very decent offer for my old 911. The old girl's drive train is working fine, but the body and interior need work, but the car is in very good shape. I'm considering the offer. If I take it, I'm buying an Exige.
Tossed the idea by the wife. Her response was, "so you'll have an FR-S and a Lotus and I drive a 12 year old Honda Civic!?". I reminded her that I have always encouraged her to drive the sports cars any time she wants. She still totally mean mugged me. Women. |

Well, the 12 year old Civic will probably out last the other two combined anyway.
