Before you toss it, you may consider running vinegar through it. Flush it then turn it off and allow the vinegar to sit in it overnight.

If it's clogged up due to hard water deposits, that may clean it out -

So... today, my work have been uneventful and eventful at the same time. Tech staff suppose to be upload test server & program into my pc. It was suppose to do it on Thursday, but tech person wanted to push it few days early. In the email it suppose to happen 6:30am and by the time I get to work (9am), it should be ready to go. Here I am almost noon, still no test server or program. I have done nothing but staring at the pc and surfing around what other parts to buy for my car. While doing that, my boss is going crazy due to someone lost key that unlock lockbolts. Can't find the spare keys, so had to cult the bolt. She had spare bolt... but doesn't fit, so now boxes are not locked out in the public.

Let's see what other unexpected things happen at work today.

We gave up on that method after a couple of attempts. The stuff was so hard it just laughed at the vinegar.

I use citric acid to clean the scale in my boiler in my Rancilio Silva.

Technically, I do work for gov/state. Just not that important than some other gov/state jobs.

Yeah saw that lil bit ago. I didn't see the pic mounted on our car. Not sure how well it'll work on our car.

Ya, I used to bring home some acetic acid from the lab. That would clean out those deposits -
