I can check, but I usually keep the front defrost off and only use to defog the windshield.

Hey guys, I hate to be annoying and bump this, but since the weather down here in South Texas has been pretty chilly this has come back up. Since last season, the chirping wasn't as present as it is now. The more I listen, the RPM seems to speed it up and slow it down, but you don't hear it once you're up to speed and it doesn't go away once the car is warm now. It's most pronounced in temps below 50F, but I could even hear it some days when it's warmer out (but it's faint). I know the usual fuel pump chirp is more common in warmer temps and that I don't care about, but this is the complete opposite, you only hear it in the cabin and it's driving me insane not knowing what it is. The dealership has been useless in diagnosing it.

Again, there's no noticeable difference in performance, I just want to know what the f**k this is... Video above is what I hear in cabin...

Here’s another video from this morning. Video was taken underneath the dash.

What is it? How about it's the sound of a FA20 engine running.

Feel better now?

Good.

If not, I recommend you take one of these, twice a day by mouth -

They are 20 mg capsules, NOT 20 gram capsules.

Best have your eyes checked before you administer anymore meds to yourself -

Yep, I have found that it's best to write the appointment dates down. Then make a note to check where you wrote them down. Then request of the doctors receptionists, to call you the day before as a reminder following with a tweet and an e-mail.

Lol thank you for the suggestion, sir. I guess I'll just make another trip to the dealership.. Doesn't seem like it's picked up very well with any video I make, but trust me, it's pretty damn loud in the cabin.

OK.

So, do you hear the sound only when the engine is running? Does it matter if the car is moving or not?

Did you follow up on Tcoat 's idea that it may be the head units cooling fan? Maybe pull the fuse for the radio to see if it makes a difference.
