Maybe a motorhome... as you can take the interest off on your taxes because it qualifies as a 2nd home. (as long as it has a toilet and a closet, or something like that)

Owned mine exactly 4 years 8 months and 1 day. Had to sell it when kid #2 came along and it was physically impossible to fit them in the car. I will be buying another one when I have the means and space to have 2 cars (or when my kid turns 16 and they are ready for their first car).

I was thinking of returning my A/T after the lease and going back to the 3 pedal life, BUT! I just installed as Cusco RS 1.5 way LSD with Weir 4.88fd! Can't wait to take it SoW and see if I hit 1:30ish CCW then I'll keep it!

4.88 really wakes up the AUTO and puts its quite ahead, definitely on my mod list when I find a proper installer nearby. Did you find the cusco LSD neccessary? How do you find the handling afterwards?

The first 42k miles are wiped clean so the engine only really needs to go 158k for my plan to work. Let's hope the rest of the car keeps together, because I love driving this car and I'd love to keep it long term beyond 200k
Fingers crossed

I'll actually be selling mine soon'ish. Absolutely love the car, but personally would rather just eliminate all outstanding debt I have soon and want to further mod my Nissan Frontier (which selling my paid off FR-S can easily do both simultaneously even below market value.) Do not regret owning the FR-S one bit, it's an absolutely stellar handing vehicle that every single drive has been a pleasure in - even more so in the wet.

Currently getting ready to order a few parts to do needed work on it and completing my vision of it so it will be ready for whomever the second owner - Exedy clutch/pressure plate/LW flywheel, new full set of ignition coils/plugs, new pads/discs/brake fluid, coolant flush, new transmission/ differential fluid, finally creating the custom single exit race style exhaust I designed and ordered tubing pieces and muffler from the Burns Stainless and have had sitting around for years, and finally fixing/modding and putting the CAE Ultra shifter back in.

This car deserves to be in the final form I've envisioned a while for it with what I have available to me. Funny thing is suspension is still 100% stock after all these years and I have zero desire to change it. Has never had an alignment since bought, because it still tracks perfectly and handles perfectly precise with just barely over 55k miles on it now... All previous 4 sets of tires have always worn down perfectly even on it, and the fifth set, Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's, may be my favorite tire on it yet - a side grade to the Continental Extreme Contact DW in performance ability but a little better in ride and daily handling and $95 each plus $60 rebate...

Actually I have seen it and would rather have an AWD turbo, something that the BRZ more than likely will NOT be.

My plan was (at least) ten years, and I'll have six on the books in October.

Part of that was getting a new Supra and then turning the FR-S into a track car.

I'm feeling less and less excited about the Supra though. The stupid long reveal doesn't help, but the biggest con is it's mostly BMW underneath the skin. As a member of the BMW club so I can do their AutoX and track days, I watch Bimmers break all the time - even new ones. I'm not interested in German "engineering".

So, until I can afford a couple-year-old LC 500 maybe, I'll just keep enjoying my Twin.

It was a great deal on a used complete rear diff assembly with the Cusco and Weir inside. Came from @Lunatic A/T FR-S. I couldn't pass on it specially when Evasive is charging 1K just on labor to install the FD. LSD benefits mostly if your going to the track, if only DD, OEM Torsen should be ok.

Car feels great! Not a neck snapping acceleration but it is freaking quick! It almost feels like the car lost a lot of weight? it feels so light! High way speed is great also, I can just leave it on 6th gear all day long! Only bad about it is that whine! I got used to is tho'

For the LSD, you do feel a difference from stock. At first, I had to use Valvoline oil to get it running (DD car), it was noisy as F on just trying to park. When the Cusco Diff oil arrived, huge difference! lol Only clunks on when you change from reverse to drive. I drive it with the "5 sec track off" daily to feel and get used to it at low speeds. You could feel the rear pushes you more. I haven't tracked it yet, but I bet it'll be a different experience compared to stock.
